Rebirthing Ceremony

The shamanic path guides us to recognise the importance of celebrating ourselves and the change in our lives. The energy of transformation is a natural force, yet we often encounter resistance and fear in embracing it.

Through rituals of passage and shamanic practices, we remember that we are not alone in these moments: we can draw on a support system greater than ourselves, capable of containing, sustaining, and accompanying our experience.

We work consciously with the cyclical movement of life, letting go of what is no longer useful with greater lightness. *Ritual practices become a symbolic gesture of return: a moment in which the body is welcomed and collected, supported and contained, to integrate the experience and seal the passage. We entrust ourselves to our spirit, allowing it to expand its presence and guidance within us.

When we choose to walk the conscious path of remembering we often find ourselves shedding many layers of living. The masks of the ego seem endless and in constant upgrade through the embodiment process of our true self. Choosing to live in alignment with our hearts and soul is a conscious choice that requires commitment, determination, and inner work. Sometimes, it is far too easy to give up our hopes for a better reality and slip into the comfort, yet uncomfortable, illusion of the third dimensional matrix.

If we are here to realign to the organic Earth and the highest expression of Spirit, we can draw on the teachings of our ancestors for support and guidance. Shamanic cultures and traditions across the globe have celebrated the cycle of living in all its stages and seasons for centuries. Yet, in our western world we seem to have forgotten the natural movement of creation and life itself. Through our machinery society, we have been disconnected from the organic way of living, which involves birth, growth, death, and rebirth.

The Medicine Wheel can remind us the aspects and nuances of the cycle of living. I will share more about this tool in the next article. However, despite the teachings of the Wheel, we can all tap into the daily movement of the Sun, and the seasonal cycle of nature to remember it all.

The flow of creation moves through our bodies, and every cell of our being is attuned to a certain process of evolution and growth. Many of us are invited to embody the soul frequency more. The overall process involves the letting go of the false reality within and without.

The embodiment of our soul requires an act of surrendering and trust into something much bigger than ourselves. Rebirth ceremonies help us release our ego grip on certain scenarios, identity patterns or experiences in our lives. The cycle of change moves through us constantly and there is no way to stop it. We can only apply resistance and create more friction within the experience.

During a rebirth ceremony, a part of our ego dies so that more of our soul can enter our field and bridge through the life we are here to live. Through the experience, we can access an incredible amount of strength and deep connection with who we truly are.

We are not meant to move through the cycle of life alone. We can receive the loving support of our community and also the assistance of many guides in spiritual forms.

In these times of collective change, the old traditions are leading the way into the new world we wish to experience, reminding us to celebrate and honour every aspect of our lives and journey of living.

If a rebirth ceremony can assist your life, it would be a pleasure to hold this very sacred and special space for you.
